VCG Launches New Materials for Altoona
Curve
February, 2006 – In
the realm of sports
marketing, VCG has been providing services to
the Altoona Curve, the AA professional baseball franchise
of the Pittsburgh Pirates, for the past several years. Initially,
this involved certain printed literature for the Curve,
such as their annual ‘pocket schedules.’ This
has recently expanded to the graphic
design and printing of their Promotional Pocket
Schedules (500,000 pieces), as well as the design and printing
of the Altoona Curve’s Sponsorship Guide, a beautiful
12 page full color booklet used in the marketing of Curve
sponsorship packages. The Curve
has been pleased with our work and the relationship with
VCG. As a result, they recently awarded
VCG with the two projects above for the 2006 and
2007 seasons.
State College Spikes
The Altoona
Curve’s new class A franchise in State College, PA, the
State College Spikes, launched their inaugural season in April
2006. VCG designed and printed the Promotional Pocket
Schedules for the Spikes (over 200,000 pieces). As
with the Curve, VCG has been awarded
this project for
the 2006 and 2007 seasons.
